Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack
Coders Connect is partnering with a fast-growing London based SaaS company building modern people operations software for scaling businesses.
Their platform helps companies manage people, workflows, compliance and employee data across global teams, removing manual work and giving teams more time to focus on higher value work. The business is well funded, product led, and building at the intersection of HR technology, workflow automation and AI.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys building real products, not just writing tickets. You would join a lean engineering team where engineers have genuine ownership, influence product decisions, and ship customer facing features from idea through to release.
What you will be doing
You will work across the full stack, building new product features, improving existing systems, supporting customers when needed, and contributing to technical direction. The team works in small, autonomous squads, so you will have space to make decisions, ask questions, shape solutions, and take ownership of delivery.
The role is especially well suited to someone who enjoys product engineering, understands users, cares about design and craft, and can operate well in an environment with high trust and low handholding.
What we are looking for:
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals
• Commercial experience with TypeScript, React and Node
• Experience building SaaS products or complex customer facing platforms
• Ability to work across frontend and backend
• Comfortable with databases and backend infrastructure concepts such as Postgres, Redis,
Kubernetes or cloud environments
• A track record of owning features from early discovery through to launch
• Strong product sense, curiosity and pragmatic decision making
• Someone who enjoys working closely with engineers, designers, founders and commercial
teams
Nice to have:
• Experience in an early stage or growth stage SaaS company
• A personal project, website, product, open-source work or portfolio that shows product taste
and craft
• Background as a founding engineer, early hire, or someone who has worked in a small team
with broad ownership
• Computer Science degree or strong technical fundamentals from another route
The setup:
• Location: London
• Hybrid: three days per week in the office
• Salary: £80,000 to £100,000, depending on experience
• Equity: competitive package
• Visa sponsorship: available for the right person
• Employment: full time
• This is a strong fit for someone who wants to join a high ownership engineering culture, build meaningful software used by modern companies, and grow with a product led team over the long term.
