Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Quality Engineering (QE) Transformation Leader to drive the evolution of a large-scale testing organization (350+ professionals) from traditional testing strategies to AI-enabled, automation-first approaches. This role will spearhead the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies, modern automation frameworks, and innovative tooling strategies to deliver superior quality at speed and scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership:
• Define and execute a multi-year transformation roadmap to transition from conventional testing to AI-driven QE practices.
• Align transformation initiatives with organizational goals, ensuring measurable business outcomes.
• AI & Automation Enablement:
• Introduce and scale AI-powered testing solutions (eg, predictive analytics, self-healing scripts, intelligent test generation).
• Drive automation maturity across functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Tooling Strategy & Governance:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive tooling strategy for test automation, AI-based test optimization, and continuous quality.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate best-in-class tools and platforms to support AI-enabled QE.
• Change Management & Adoption:
• Lead cultural and skill transformation within the QE organization, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
• Design and deliver enablement programs for upskilling teams on AI, ML, and advanced automation practices.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
• Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to embed quality into the development life cycle.
• Act as a thought leader and evangelist for AI-driven QE across the enterprise.
• Metrics & Reporting:
• Define KPIs to measure transformation success (eg, automation coverage, defect leakage, cycle time reduction).
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and ROI.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience:
• 15+ years in Quality Engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles driving large-scale transformation.
• Proven track record of implementing AI and automation strategies in enterprise environments.
• Technical Expertise:
• Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts applied to software testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), AI-based testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Leadership & Communication:
• Exceptional ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred:
• Exposure to cloud-native testing, DevOps, and continuous quality practices.
• Certifications in AI/ML or advanced test automation.
