Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to lead Agile teams in delivering high-quality products and solutions. The ideal candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, promote Agile best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
- Remove blockers and impediments to ensure smooth sprint execution.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs.
- Track and report sprint progress, team velocity, and key Agile metrics.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Support the team in delivering high-quality products within agreed timelines.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.
- Identify opportunities to improve team performance and delivery processes.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, testers, and leadership teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of overall IT experience with at least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and Agile best practices.
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and managing Agile delivery teams.
- Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Experience working in cross-functional and distributed team environments.
Preferred Skills
- Scrum Master certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe Scrum Master.
- Experience working in Agile transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of Kanban, Lean, and DevOps practices.
- Experience in software development or project delivery environments.
- Exposure to cloud and digital transformation projects.
