Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to identify business needs, define solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.
• Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
• Collaborate with development, testing, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support solution design discussions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain business sign-off.
• Assist in change management activities, training, and user documentation.
• Monitor project progress and help resolve business-related issues and risks.
• Ensure requirements traceability and maintain project documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

Business Analysis

• Strong understanding of Business Analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and management.
• Proficiency in creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
• Ability to perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and process mapping.

Stakeholder Management

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with senior business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and drive consensus among stakeholders.

Agile & Project Delivery

• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall environments.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery.

Tools

• Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Process modelling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.

Data Analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, Healthcare, or Telecom domains.
• Knowledge of data modelling and business process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and digital transformation projects.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are desirable.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
