Trainee Software Tester

Day-to-day, you will:

• Analyse performance and functionality of printing applications
• Identify problems and report to appropriate teams via bug reports
• Carry out necessary tests, collect and analysing results
• Contribute to best practice methods of continuous improvement
• Improve the quality of an operation or process
• Be taught to read and understand functional design specifications and follow test procedures
• Check the status of equipment, the work environment and facilities and taking appropriate actions before commencing work
• Prepare communications, documents, and reports on technical matters

You will need:

• GCSEs in Maths and Science
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• An interest in software and technology
• A positive, "can-do" attitude
