We are looking for a motivated and collaborative professional to support UK Central Government clients, helping organisations deliver meaningful digital transformation using the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
You will play a key role in building trusted relationships, understanding client challenges, and helping shape solutions across modern cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships within UK Central Government organisations, supporting long-term strategic engagement.
- Work with clients and internal teams to support digital transformation programmes, including cloud migration, modernisation, target operating models, digital-by-design services, and AI-enabled innovation.
- Help customers understand the value and business outcomes enabled by Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
- Support clients through the early stages of complex technology decisions, helping shape potential solution directions.
- Engage with customer stakeholders to gather information, understand organisational challenges, and identify transformation opportunities.
- Support early-stage solution framing across areas such as data platforms, modern applications, automation, and digital workplace.
- Assist with the development of new business opportunities by researching client context, industry trends, and digital priorities.
What you need to succeed in this role
- Experience working with UK Central Government in digital, data, or technology transformation programmes.
- Experience in a client-facing, consulting, delivery, strategy, or business development support role, ideally within public sector technology or digital transformation.
- Exposure to pre-sales and opportunity development, working collaboratively with delivery teams.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft partner ecosystem, and how Microsoft and partners engage with government clients.
- Experience working for a Microsoft Partner organisation delivering services to the public sector.
- Nice to have: Understanding of UK Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and principles.
- Experience supporting public sector bids, frameworks, or procurement processes (coordination-level experience is sufficient).
- High-level understanding of modern cloud and data technologies including Azure cloud services, Power Platform automation, Dynamics 365 applications, data platforms, and AI capabilities.
- Ability to explain complex technology concepts in simple, business-focused language to non-technical audiences.
