Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled AWS Developer to join our dynamic Contact Centre Platform (CCP) team. Reporting to the AWS Lead Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the deployment and maintenance of cutting-edge innovations hosted on AWS infrastructure-including AI models and automation tools.

 

Note that you must be eligible for SC Clearance.

Our offices are based in London and Leeds - you are free to attend any of these locations. We operate on a hybrid model with 2 days per week in the office.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain and support AWS-hosted AI models and infrastructure.
  • Assist in deploying services within the Amazon Connect ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the route-to-live process for new features and innovations.
  • Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions using Python or Node.js.
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive production data in line with FCA standards.
  • Collaborate with CRRM and IPG teams to align infrastructure and release processes.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise performance of AWS-hosted services.

 

Must-Have Qualifications

 

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js, with experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure data handling.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Connect and/or deploying AI models on AWS.
