Project Management Degree Apprenticeship - Level 6
Role
You will become integral in supporting our project leads and technical teams in all matters associated with the planning and management of our Signalling & Telecoms rail projects.
You will gain a sound understanding of the different elements involved in delivering a project at Colas Rail and you will be supported by a team who will guide and support you.
You will:
- Develop an in-depth understanding and knowledge of project planning
- Develop in-depth understanding of all areas which are key to managing a project e.g. costs, resources, risks etc.
- Work on multiple projects both in the office and on site where the work is taking place
- Work with different team members to understand the importance of their roles
- Work to problem-solve issues and challenges
- Build confidence to share your ideas and challenge the norm.
Training
- During your apprentice scheme you will be learning on the job and from the training provider to learn the more advanced skills of your technical specialism.
- You will support Lead Engineers, Supervisors and Team Leaders to deliver high value contracts for our customers and they will support you throughout your journey.
- Upon completion of your apprenticeship you will receive Project manager (integrated degree) (level 6) qualification and gain professional membership to the professional organisation chosen during the scheme.
- Training and training location to be confirmed.
- On successful completion of the Project Manager Apprentice Programme, there will also be the option to become chartered in this field.
- You will be an integral part of our Future Leaders and Talent process mentoring others.
