Senior Database and Analytics Developer

Isle of Wight REMOTE

Contract
£27.03 per hour PAYE or £36 per hour limited paid via umbrella company inside IR35

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Database and Analytics Developer

Fully remote working

This role can be carried out remotely with equipment provided for the duration of the contract but candidates must be situated within the UK with all relevant UK right to work documentation in place.

Demonstrable experience of technical writing ideally in a report writing context. For example the production of help files written with a semi-technical audience in mind

Proven ability to create and present reports for management on any area of specialism within the role. E.g. Post Problem evaluation reports; business intelligence solutions proposal reports.

Good planning and organisational skills, with proven ability to prioritise and co-ordinate workloads, monitor and evaluate work, to ensure standards, outcomes and deadlines are achieved.

Proven initiative and judgement to identify and resolve problems.

Experience of successfully undertaking business intelligence solution and reporting error troubleshooting

Able to demonstrate ability to prioritise, coordinate, and respond to incidents, problems, and event resolutions.

Knowledge of the OSI 7-layer Model

Excellent ICT skills - including use of Microsoft applications and specialist systems which support procedures and record keeping.  

Able to effectively use Microsoft 365 applications such as word, excel, outlook and teams.

Knowledge and experience of contributing to the development of policies, procedures and practices.  

Ability to contribute to service / process or technology improvements and proposing future data storage solutions and business intelligence standards.

Proven initiative and judgement to research, identify and resolve problems.
