Analytics Consultant

I am working with a market leading consultancy in central London, who due to high level success already and expansion of their, offering are adding to their highly skilled team. I am seeking an exceptional Data Analytics Engineer to be part of a high-performing team at the crossroads of data engineering, analytics, and real-world business impact.

This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in connecting data engineering and analytics, ensuring that complex datasets are transformed into scalable, production-ready insights.

In this role, you will:

• Build and maintain automated data pipelines and transformation workflows using Python and modern cloud-based technologies.
• Develop and refine API integrations and backend processes that bring analytics models into production (experience with FastAPI, Django, or comparable frameworks is advantageous).
• Work extensively within cloud environments (preferably AWS), applying sound architectural understanding to ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with both engineering and analytics teams on project delivery from discovery through to implementation.
• Partner with client data teams to interpret analytical requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute actively to agile ceremonies, helping shape technical direction and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery across multiple projects.

The Essentials:

• Around 2+ years’ experience in analytics or data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and a solid grasp of data transformation and workflow design (ETL).
• Working understanding of cloud computing principles.
• Experience with APIs and backend systems, integrating data from multiple sources.
• Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations, and communicating clearly.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high standards of delivery.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
• Experience deploying analytics products into production or working within consultancy/project-led environments.
• Exposure to multi-source data integration and diverse cloud infrastructures.
• Understanding of how to operationalise data science and analytics at scale.
