About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Integration Lead (L3) to drive the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise data integration solutions. This role is pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring seamless integration of data across multiple platforms and transforming it into meaningful insights.
You will work at the intersection of data engineering, architecture, and strategy, helping align data capabilities with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end data integration initiatives across the organisation.
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines and workflows.
- Integrate data from multiple disparate sources into a unified and reliable data platform.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
- Develop and implement data strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all integration processes.
- Optimise existing data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Support the adoption of modern data platforms and cloud-based solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD practices for data engineering and platform deployment.
- Enable the integration of AI/ML capabilities to enhance data-driven outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and optimisation.
- Solid understanding of data ingestion frameworks and modern integration methodologies.
- Expertise in data architecture and data modelling principles.
- Proven experience in ETL/ELT processes and pipeline development.
- Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services within a data engineering context.
- Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with integrating AI/ML workflows into data platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex data environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams.
- Exposure to large-scale, enterprise-level data transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
