Full Stack Java Developer (Contract | Hybrid Edinburgh)

I’m hiring a strong Full Stack Developer for a live programme | heavy focus on Java + modern cloud engineering.

What you’ll be doing:

Building scalable Java (8/17+) microservices with Spring Boot

Developing clean, responsive React front ends

Working across GCP, Docker, Kubernetes environments

Driving API design, integrations, and performance optimisation

Owning delivery end-to-end | from design to deployment

Key tech:

Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, React, JavaScript, SQL, OAuth2/OIDC, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD

What matters:

Proper hands-on engineering (not just theory)

Ability to lead, mentor, and own complex builds

Comfortable across full stack + cloud + data layers

This is a live project with real impact, not a bench role.
