C# Developer (SC Cleared)
Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week onsite)
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required (transferable accepted)
Overview
We are seeking a Junior / Mid-Level C# Developer to join a secure delivery team supporting a live technical environment during a critical lab and release phase.
This role sits across application support, development, and release engineering, providing hands-on support for external users while working closely with product and development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
The successful candidate will be involved in triaging technical issues, supporting deployments, and contributing to ongoing improvements within a .NET-based platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and resolve technical issues raised by external participants and internal users
- Support live application environments during lab, testing, and release phases
- Collaborate with Product and Development teams to investigate and resolve defects
- Support delivery of software releases, ensuring quality and timeliness
- Debug and support applications built in C# and .NET
- Write and execute SQL queries to investigate data and application issues
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Work within an Agile delivery environment (sprints, stand-ups, backlog refinement)
Essential Skills and Experience
- Active SC Clearance (must be transferable or already in place)
- Strong experience with C# and .NET development or support
- Solid understanding of SQL for querying and troubleshooting
- Experience in application support, production support, or DevOps support roles
- Ability to debug code and investigate technical issues in live environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced Agile environment
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps pipelines)
- Experience supporting release management or deployment cycles
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or Application Insights
- Exposure to incident management processes
