About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Security Engineer to play a pivotal role in strengthening the security posture of our mobile platform. You will be responsible for designing and delivering a robust, scalable security framework that protects mobile applications across the organisation.

This role sits within a dedicated mobile security team that provides a comprehensive suite of security components and services, including penetration testing, obfuscation, and security consultancy. The team’s mission is to enable mobile engineers to build and deliver features confidently in a constantly evolving threat landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance a world-class mobile security framework
• Conduct threat modelling and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Perform regular security reviews of mobile applications
• Develop and maintain penetration testing tools, scripts, and processes
• Provide security consultancy and guidance to mobile engineering teams
• Stay ahead of emerging threats through research and continuous improvement
• Support and enhance services such as penetration testing and security assessments

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in mobile application security (Android & iOS)
• Proven expertise in threat modelling and risk mitigation techniques
• Hands-on experience reviewing and improving mobile security posture
• Experience developing pen-testing tools, scripts, and security frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of mobile security standards and best practices

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with mobile development environments
• Experience with DevSecOps tooling and automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of:
• Authentication & authorisation
• Encryption & cryptography principles
• Experience using mobile security testing tools
• Proactive mindset with interest in emerging security technologies
