I’m currently working with a leading global financial services organisation looking to bring on a talented Windows Engineer to join their Distributed Compute / Infrastructure team.

🌍 The Opportunity
You’ll be part of a critical infrastructure function responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of server platforms across multiple business lines.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Administer, optimise, and secure Windows server environments
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, and DevOps tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues proactively
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
- Drive continuous improvement through emerging technologies
🧠 Required Skills
- Strong experience with Windows Server (enterprise environments)
- Hands-on with Ansible, Jenkins, and DevOps pipelines
- Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Experience with VMware & container platforms (e.g., OpenShift)
- Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, security)
- API integration experience (MuleSoft, Postman)
