Storage & Networking Consultant, Dell PowerScale/Switches, ASAP, Dorset, Outside IR35, NPPV3 £Good

We're looking for an experienced Dell Storage and Networking Consultant to deliver a short-term deployment project focused on Dell PowerScale storage and Dell Networking. You'll lead the design and implementation of a new storage and network solution, including configuration and physical installation at the customer's site in Dorset. The successful candidate will need to have NPPV3 clearance to be successfully considered for this role.

The Role:

• Run client workshops (project definition + discovery)

• Create Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation

• Configure Dell Switches (S5248F, S4148T) including uplinks to existing network. Rack, Stack and Cabling required in person, at the customer site

• Deploy and configure Dell PowerScale cluster (H700 + A300L nodes) at the customer site.

• Perform firmware and software upgrades on Switches and storage

• Conduct platform and resilience testing

• Deliver full documentation and client handover

The Person:

Required Skills:

• Must hold active NPPV3 clearance

• Strong hands-on experience with Dell PowerScale (Isilon)

• Expertise in Dell Network Switching

• Proven background in Network Switches and storage deployments, including client-facing consultancy, documentation, and testing
