HRIS Programme Lead - SAP/Successfactors

I am looking to speak with experienced HRIS Programme Leads who can take ownership of the HR workstream within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programme. This is a pivotal role for a technically strong leader who can drive the successful delivery of a new HR systems landscape—ensuring it supports the people strategy, enhances organisational performance, and aligns with the wider S/4 programme objectives.

As the HRIS Programme Lead, you will act as the primary bridge between HR, IT, and implementation partners. You will shape the HR technology roadmap, guide solution design, and ensure that SAP HR and SuccessFactors solutions are delivered to a best-practice standard.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the HR stream within the SAP S/4HANA programme.
  • Oversee solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support for SAP HR and SuccessFactors.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for HR technology, ensuring systems meet both business and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with HR leadership, programme management, and technical teams to align design decisions with strategic and operational needs.
  • Manage vendor and implementation partner relationships to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Champion process improvement and harmonisation across the HR function.
  • Develop and manage HRIS project plans, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Support business readiness activities including data migration, UAT, training, and change impacts.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maximise value from SAP HR/SuccessFactors modules post-implementation.

You
  • Significant experience leading multiple SAP HR/SuccessFactors implementations, ideally in large or complex organisations.
  • Deep technical knowledge of SAP HR, SuccessFactors, and integration points with core SAP modules (preferably S/4HANA).
  • A strong background in HR systems programme leadership, with the ability to steer cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience in process optimisation, solution architecture, and HRIS best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and collaborate at all levels.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a passion for HR technology and transformation.
