Interim Senior Finance Manager (Tech Sector)

Contract: 3 - 6 months (interim)Location: London (2 - 3 days per week in office, hybrid)Day rate: £450 - £550 per day (depending on experience)

We are working with a fast growing technology business that is entering an exciting stage of its journey and requires additional senior finance support. As the Interim Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in stabilising and strengthening the finance function, ensuring the business continues to scale with robust financial controls and meaningful insight.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this position offers the opportunity to step into a dynamic, innovative company. You will combine hands-on technical expertise with commercial awareness, working closely with leadership to provide clarity on performance and support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close and deliver accurate, timely reporting across the group

• Manage statutory accounts preparation and support audit requirements

• Drive budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling for a scaling tech environment

• Partner with senior stakeholders, providing commercial insight on growth, metrics and cashflow

• Oversee and mentor junior team members, building capability within the function

• Act as deputy to the Head of Finance, stepping in where required

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CA or equivalent)

• Strong post-qualification experience within technology / SaaS / high growth sector

• Blend of technical accounting and commercial finance skills

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, investor-backed environments

• Excellent communicator, able to influence senior stakeholders

• Immediately available or on short notice
