We’d love you to be part of our journey: We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior UiPath Developer to join our Business Architecture & Smart Ops team at Compare the Market. This is a hands-on, technical role responsible for designing, developing and deploying intelligent automation solutions across the full UiPath platform - including UiPath Studio, Document Understanding, AI Center, and Agent Builder. Working closely with our Technical Automation Analyst and reporting to the Manager of BA & Smart Ops, you will help identify, build and deliver scalable automation solutions for teams across the business. You will ensure that our automations meet high standards of quality, reliability, governance and performance in a modern, AWS-first, Azure, SaaS-oriented environment. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape automation at scale and enable the business to adopt AI-powered automation capabilities. What You’ll Be Doing End-to-End Automation Development
- Design, build and maintain robust, scalable automations using the full UiPath product suite (Studio, Document Understanding, AI Center, Agent Builder).
- Develop intelligent workflows that include data extraction (structured, semi-structured, unstructured), machine learning models, decisioning and exception handling.
- Integrate automations with APIs, internal systems, SaaS platforms, and legacy applications.
- Ensure delivered solutions are modular, reusable, secure, and aligned with enterprise development standards.
- Manage UiPath Orchestrator environments, including robot provisioning, asset/queue configuration, triggers and schedules.
- Monitor automation performance, diagnose issues and ensure reliable operation of both attended and unattended automations.
- Support production incident analysis, troubleshooting and continuous optimisation.
- Work closely with the Technical Automation Analyst to understand requirements, confirm solution design and translate SDDs into working automations.
- Participate in solution walkthroughs with SMEs and stakeholders to validate logic and operational fit.
- Support the full development lifecycle: feasibility assessment, build, testing, deployment and hypercare.
- Identify reusable components and contribute to improving design patterns and development efficiency.
- Ensure all automations comply with development standards, naming conventions, code quality expectations and change control processes.
- Support compliance, audit and risk management activities by maintaining documentation, traceability and adherence to security standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation governance, development best practices and platform maturity.
- Strong proficiency in UiPath Studio, REFramework and complex selector handling.
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Document Understanding, AI Center, and Agent Builder (or willingness and ability to develop rapidly into these areas).
- Strong Orchestrator knowledge: queues, triggers, assets, logs, robot management, and deployment pipelines.
- Experience with APIs, web automation, Excel/data manipulation, JSON/XML, and integrating with third-party systems.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and confidence working with model inputs, outputs and retraining cycles.
- Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
- Proven track record delivering automation solutions from design to production, ideally in complex or regulated environments.
- Strong debugging, testing and optimisation skills, with a focus on reliability, auditability, and edge-case handling.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment.
- Strong communicator able to partner effectively with analysts, SMEs, engineers and business stakeholders.
- Comfortable contributing to technical discussions to refine solution design and improve delivery outcomes.
- Proactive, self-driven and focused on delivering measurable value.
- UiPath Advanced RPA Developer, AI Center, or Solution Architect certifications.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to process mining, business process modelling, or cloud-native automation deployments (especially in AWS).
