We’re now looking for an experienced Digital Product Owner to take ownership of our omni-channel food ordering platform. This is a high-profile role where you’ll work with cross-functional teams, both in the UK and overseas, to deliver innovative features, integrations, and user experiences that delight our customers and support our strategic roadmap.
What you’ll be doing-
Own, refine, and prioritise the product backlog to align with business strategy.

Partner with development and QA teams (including offshore teams) to ensure features are delivered on time, to specification, and with quality.

Act as the voice of the customer — translating feedback and insights into actionable user stories and product improvements.

Support smooth product releases and post-launch validation, using feedback to continuously iterate.

Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, show & tells) and promote best practice across teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders, support teams, and Compass leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.

Drive integrations by ensuring requirements are clearly understood and embedded within delivery.

Proven experience (5+ years) as a Digital Product Owner or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, backlog management, and DevOps practices.

Experience working with APIs, integrations, and multi-platform solutions.

Hands-on understanding of Azure DevOps and software delivery processes.

Skilled at managing offshore/distributed teams and mentoring junior product colleagues.

Excellent communicator who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, detail orientation, and a passion for delivering value through technology.
