Head of IT Infrastructure

At Complii, we are on the lookout for a Head of IT Infrastructure to play a key role in shaping, governing, and assuring the organisation’s infrastructure estate as we continue to scale through growth and acquisition. This role is focused on resilience, consistency, and technical governance, ensuring our platforms are secure, compliant, and fit for long-term expansion.

If you enjoy setting clear infrastructure strategy, holding partners to account, and acting as the technical authority across complex environments, this is a role where your influence will be both broad and deeply felt across the business.

You will play a critical role in owning infrastructure strategy, standards, and MSP governance, ensuring services are delivered reliably and consistently across multiple brands and sites. From day one, the priority is strengthening governance, improving visibility, and ensuring infrastructure scales safely and cost-effectively.

What you receive for joining us

We believe in rewarding technical leadership and accountability, which is why we offer an excellent salary. This includes 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, an additional day off for your birthday, a collaborative and supportive working environment, and the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders who value clarity, resilience, and well-governed delivery.

Here is a look at some of the things you will be doing

• Defining and owning the infrastructure strategy, architecture standards, and technical roadmap across cloud, network, hosting, and end-user computing
 • Governing and overseeing the Managed Service Provider, ensuring strong performance management, compliance, risk control, and service assurance
 • Leading the infrastructure workstream for acquisitions, ensuring consistent, secure, and efficient integration of newly acquired businesses
 • Acting as the technical authority for infrastructure, resilience, DR/BCP, and platform standardisation across the organisation

Can you show experience in some of these areas

• Strong experience governing enterprise infrastructure environments, including cloud, identity, networks, hosting, and security controls
 • Proven track record managing MSPs or outsourced partners, with clear ownership of performance, contracts, and technical quality
 • Experience defining and delivering infrastructure strategy in a scaling or multi-entity organisation
 • Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate technical decisions into clear business outcomes

If you feel you have the skills and drive to make an impact, even if you don’t meet every requirement above, we’d still love to hear from you. Complii is a leading integrated provider of safety and regulatory compliance services across our water, air, fire, and electrical divisions, supporting organisations nationwide to operate safely, compliantly, and responsibly. This role offers the opportunity to shape a resilient infrastructure foundation and play a key role in the organisation’s continued growth.
