About ComplyStream
At ComplyStream, we're building the intelligent AI infrastructure that powers next-generation compliance operations in global B2B payments.
Financial institutions are overwhelmed by fragmented tools and outdated workflows across fraud detection, KYC, AML, and risk operations. This leads to inefficiency, regulatory exposure, and poor customer experience.
We're solving this by building agentic, trustworthy AI systems that make compliance more accurate, faster, safer, and scalable.

The Role
We're looking for a Product Manager with deep RegTech and financial crime expertise to own the product strategy and execution for ComplyStream's AI-powered compliance platform.
In this role, you'll:
- Own the product roadmap for ComplyStream's compliance orchestration platform, translating market needs and regulatory requirements into a prioritized product strategy
- Write comprehensive, detailed PRDs that enable engineers to build world-class compliance workflows, covering user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, regulatory constraints, and technical specifications
- Deeply understand financial crime operations including KYC/KYB, AML transaction monitoring, fraud detection, sanctions screening, and Customer Risk Assessments
- Bridge the gap between compliance domain expertise and AI/ML capabilities, defining how agentic AI can revolutionize analyst workflows
- Work directly with customers to understand pain points, validate solutions, and gather feedback on product iterations
- Collaborate with engineering to make smart trade-offs between speed, quality, and technical complexity while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Define success metrics for product features and track adoption, efficiency gains, and customer satisfaction
This is both a strategic and execution-focused role where you'll shape:
- What we build and why, backed by deep domain expertise and customer insights
- How we communicate product requirements to engineering teams through comprehensive, actionable PRDs
- The balance between innovation (agentic AI) and compliance requirements (auditability, explainability, regulatory standards)
- Our go-to-market positioning and product narrative for financial institutions
As a founding product hire, you'll work directly with the CEO, CTO and engineering leadership, with significant influence over company direction and product-market fit.

- Deep domain expertise in financial crime operations: Hands-on experience with KYC/AML workflows, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, or risk assessment processes—ideally from working at a bank, fintech, payment processor, or compliance vendor
- Exceptional PRD writing skills: Proven ability to write detailed, comprehensive product requirements documents that enable engineering teams to build complex compliance workflows with clarity on user needs, regulatory constraints, technical architecture, and acceptance criteria
- Technical fluency: Comfortable working with engineers on API design, data models, system integrations, and understanding AI/ML capabilities and limitations
- Regulatory knowledge: Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations (UK/EU/US), GDPR, PSD2, and financial crime compliance frameworks
- Customer-centric approach: Experience conducting user research, customer discovery, and translating qualitative insights into product features
- Data-driven decision making: Ability to define metrics, analyze product usage, and make prioritization decisions based on evidence
- Startup mentality: Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you need to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution coupled with high agency
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with AI/ML products, particularly in compliance or risk management contexts
- Background as a compliance analyst or financial crime investigator before transitioning to product management
- Experience building products for enterprise buyers in regulated industries with complex procurement and security requirements
- Technical background (engineering, data science, or similar) that enables deeper collaboration with technical teams
- Professional certifications in financial crime (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, CAMS) or related compliance qualifications
- Experience with agentic AI, LLMs, or automation in compliance workflows
- Understanding of B2B SaaS metrics and go-to-market strategy for selling to financial institutions
