This is a hybrid role based from our Hatfield office. What you'll doIn this role, you'll be responsible for creating, amending and supporting integration solutions in line with agreed specifications and standards.
You'll: Design, develop and implement integration solutions across internal systemsPlan, develop and carry out testing to ensure high-quality, error-free deliveryInvestigate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues after implementationDocument your work clearly and consistently in line with agreed standardsWork with internal customers to understand requirements and support service improvementsCoordinate and implement system configuration changesShare improvement requests and feedback with development teamsPrepare progress updates and work collaboratively with project managers and team leadersKeep up to date with relevant technical information and apply it quickly where neededWhat you'll needYou'll bring a logical, analytical approach to problem solving, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
We're looking for someone with: Experience developing integrations across A2A and B2B environmentsStrong knowledge of XML and JSON formatsCapability in at least one programming or scripting language, such as ABAP, VB, C++, PowerShell, Groovy, XSLT, XQuery or SQLExperience with middleware applications and integration methodsKnowledge of SAP PI, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP BTP Services or API ManagementAn understanding of software development principles and methodologiesExperience planning, creating and carrying out tests for programme componentsThe ability to document system configuration requirements clearly and accuratelyA good understanding of business processes, ideally within procurement or ITIL managementStrong English language skillsConfidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Visio, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPointIt would also be great if you have experience with Agile or Scrum, integration monitoring and troubleshooting, JMS Queues, SFTP, EDI standards, cXML, xCBL, SuccessFactors integrations, SAP ECC, IDOCs or ProxyClasses.
