Contract Applications Architect Leading International Law Firm  The Role As Contract Applications Architect, you'll provide strategic leadership in evaluating and deploying enterprise applications, working collaboratively with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure seamless global adoption. You'll be instrumental in maintaining architectural governance, establishing design patterns, and ensuring all technology solutions align with the firm's broader strategic objectives.Your expertise will guide critical decisions around both packaged software and cloud-based platforms, whilst you'll also assess emerging opportunities that enhance operational efficiency. A key aspect of the position involves understanding the unique requirements of a geographically dispersed workforce and designing solutions that deliver consistent, high-quality experiences worldwide.What We're Looking For Essential Experience:
  • Substantial background within law firms or financial professional services organisations
  • Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure cloud services
  • Demonstrable expertise with legal sector applications from vendors such as InTapp, Litera, iManage, and similar providers
  • Strong track record in enterprise architecture, including creation of architectural artefacts and governance frameworks
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, conducting RFI/RFP processes, and leading technical evaluations
  • Proven ability to design and deliver global application deployments for distributed user communities
  • Minimum 10 years in IT with at least 3 years in an architectural capacity
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • TOGAF 9 (or higher) certification
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification
