Responsibilities

• Lead the charge in architecting, deploying, and operating next-generation platform services encompassing advanced Kubernetes environments, intelligent server provisioning, and game-changing High-Performance Computing systems.
• Master the art of infrastructure construction through cutting-edge code-driven methodologies utilising industry-leading Terraform, Ansible, and Helm technologies.
• Engineer bulletproof platform frameworks that enable lightning-fast containerised workloads, distributed systems, and performance-critical trading applications that process millions of transactions.
• Drive innovation through standardised automation, seamless resource provisioning, and intelligent configuration oversight across multiple high-stakes operational environments.
• Champion collaboration with elite DevOps, development, and quantitative research teams to unlock platform capabilities and deliver game-changing project outcomes.
• Bridge worlds by connecting on-site infrastructure with hybrid and public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) to supercharge computational capacity and resource federation.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years proven excellence in Infrastructure Platform Engineering roles within high-performance environments
• Master-level expertise with Kubernetes orchestration platforms (including VKS/Tanzu, EKS Anywhere, Rancher, OpenShift variants) in production-scale deployments
• Deep technical mastery of Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks with Terraform, Ansible, and Helm being absolutely essential.
• Advanced wizardry in Linux systems management, virtualisation technologies, containerisation platforms, and VMware orchestration tools (vRealize/Aria suite).
• Exceptional coding prowess in automation development and scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, and Git workflows that drive efficiency.
• Battle-tested experience with continuous integration/deployment pipelines and IaC integration across GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps platforms.
• Comprehensive mastery of network architecture principles, storage systems management, and system performance optimisation that delivers results.
• Razor-sharp analytical abilities and troubleshooting superpowers with capacity for autonomous operation in demanding, adrenaline-fueled trading environments.
• Exceptional leadership qualities and cross-functional collaboration skills to champion platform adoption and drive transformational technical process enhancements.
• Bachelor's qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical discipline.
