 Build & Optimise: Take ownership of Starburst (Trino) and Dell Data Lakehouse deployments, turning complex data ecosystems into seamless, high-performance platforms

 Connect Everything: Create unified data experiences by integrating diverse data sources across multiple environments

 Performance Mastery: Fine-tune containerised solutions for maximum scalability and lightning-fast query performance

 Secure by Design: Implement bulletproof security frameworks and ensure rock-solid compliance across all data touchpoints

 Problem Solver: Dive deep into complex technical challenges, providing expert root cause analysis and innovative solutions

 Knowledge Sharer: Develop comprehensive documentation and mentor teams on advanced data engineering best practices

Essential Expertise

• Starburst Mastery: Deep experience with Trino/Starburst Enterprise/Galaxy administration and CLI operations

• Container Orchestration: Proven track record with Kubernetes/OpenShift in production environments

• Big Data Ecosystem: Strong background in Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Systems Architecture: Understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and fault-tolerant design

• Security Protocols: Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth2, and Kerberos authentication

• Unix/Linux Proficiency: Advanced command-line skills and system administration experience

• Educational Foundation: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience

 Starburst Certified Practitioner certification

 Programming Skills in Python and/or Java
