RF Test Engineer

Imagine joining a company where your problem-solving skills bring critical RF and electronic systems to life in high-performance environments. It's an opportunity to work in a small, focused team. You'll be hands-on with advanced test equipment and intricate RF circuits, driving the performance and reliability of systems designed for demanding real-world use.

As an RF & Electronics Test Engineer, you'll be at the heart of practical fault resolution and testing operations, bringing together deep knowledge of schematics, signal paths, and diagnostics to ensure zero-defect delivery.

This is an on-site role.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conducting thorough fault finding and testing on RF and electronic equipment
  • Diagnosing issues across system and component levels with a focus on amplifiers and circuits
  • Interpreting detailed schematics and applying them to real-world repair and test processes
  • Using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum and network analysers, and signal generators
  • Producing clear documentation of results, problems, and corrective actions
  • Supporting a company culture that centres on zero defects and rigorous standards

What We're Looking For:

  • A British passport is required due to the nature of the work
  • Experience in electronics fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Strong familiarity with RF testing and working with RF-related components
  • Comfortable reading schematics and handling circuit-level debugging
  • Hands-on competence with oscilloscopes, signal generators, and similar tools
  • Clear communication skills and attention to detail in reporting and teamwork
  • A genuine enthusiasm for electronics and RF technology
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a technical team

What You'll Get in Return:

  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising by 1 day per year after 2 years, up to 25 days
  • Discretionary Christmas bonus
  • Increased pension contribution after 2 years of service
  • Access to a private medical scheme after 2 years of service

You'll be joining a technically sharp, down-to-earth team that values practical problem-solving and dependable performance. If you're passionate about electronics and RF testing and ready to make a meaningful contribution, we'd love to hear from you.

If this role sounds of interest and you meet a handful of the requirements, please apply and we'll be in touch to share some further information.
