Our client is looking for a SysOps Engineer to support the reliability, security, and performance of their production, staging, and development environments. What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Proactively monitoring infrastructure and responding to alerts to maintain system availability and performance
- Administering network, compute, and storage services, including AWS VPC, EC2, and associated technologies
- Driving infrastructure improvements and refining processes using cloud‐native tools and best practices
- Collaborating closely with Developers, Product Owners, UX Designers, and other stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment
- Contributing to a highly collaborative culture through whiteboarding, knowledge sharing, peer reviews, and pair working
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2 years’ hands‐on experience with AWS, supporting secure and highly available environments
- Practical experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Exposure to scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring and alerting solutions
- AWS certifications, or the motivation to work towards them
- A proactive approach to operations, with proven experience responding to incidents and resolving issues effectively
