On behalf of Computershare, we are looking for a Full-Stack AI Engineer for a 12 Months contract based in Edinburgh (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office).
Join us as a Full-Stack AI Engineer
As an AI Full-Stack Engineer, you will design and deliver end-to-end AI-powered applications that drive real business impact across the enterprise. Working hands-on across the full technology stack, you will build intelligent solutions that combine modern software engineering with cutting-edge Generative AI and agentic systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end AI applications, from data and model orchestration through to backend services and user interfaces.
- Work closely with business and product teams to translate high-value use cases into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate on Generative AI and agentic solutions, evolving them into robust, enterprise-grade applications.
- Develop and maintain clean, secure, and reliable code, following best practices in testing, CI/CD, and observability.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and contribute to shared platforms and reusable components.
- Monitor, optimise, and improve deployed solutions for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
What you will bring to the role:
- Strong full-stack software engineering experience, with expertise in backend development (Python) and modern APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, including Large Language Models, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic frameworks.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience delivering solutions in financial services or a regulated environment.
- Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and system design.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving environments with a pragmatic and adaptable mindset.
