Strategy and Operations Lead (Hiring Immediately)

🗝️Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Alignment: Ensure that key strategic initiatives are aligned with Concordium’s broader corporate strategy and commercial objectives.
• Operational Execution and Initiative Oversight: Drive disciplined execution of Concordium’s key strategic initiatives and special projects, execution plans, organisational KPIs, and dependencies, ensuring they are proactively managed and tracked. Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks by collaborating across various teams, including Commercial, Product, Technology, Legal, Finance, and Marketing.
• Cross-Functional Initiative Management: Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and ensure operational clarity, defined ownership, and momentum across critical initiatives. Facilitate structured planning, monitor progress, escalate risks, and maintain initiative-level reporting.
• Operational Excellence: Establish and drive operational excellence across strategic initiatives by implementing structured processes, documentation, risk mitigation strategies, and standardised templates to ensure scalability, resilience, and operational consistency.
• Grant Programme Execution: Support the operational delivery of Concordium’s Grant Programme. Oversee due diligence processes, milestone tracking, grantee engagement, and post-award performance management in close partnership with the Commercial team.
• Corporate Strategy Support: Provide analytical and strategic support for broader corporate strategy as required, including strategic planning, market analysis, commercial business development, performance tracking, and alignment with Concordium’s long-term vision and commercial objectives.
• Senior Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Regularly engage with senior leadership, to support with recommending strategic solutions, communicating progress against objectives and facilitating informed executive decision-making through concise and insightful reporting.

🎓Qualifications:

• Professional Background: 4 - 7 years of experience in roles such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Programme Management, Strategy or Operations-focused roles within high-growth start-up or scale-up environments.
• Crypto & Blockchain Interest: Interest and strong understanding in areas such as crypto/blockchain/Web 3, Payments and Stablecoins, identity verification / digital identity, and current market trends within the broader crypto landscape would be a plus.
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Project Management Skills: Proven track record coordinating cross-functional initiatives, effectively working with multiple stakeholders, managing timelines, and driving accountability for delivering strategic outcomes.
• Process-Driven Execution: Demonstrated ability to implement processes, frameworks, and internal tools that drive initiative consistency, scalability, and accountability.
• Analytical & Insight-Driven Thinking: Strong data fluency with the ability to synthesise information, identify operational gaps, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Comfortable working with operational metrics and reporting dashboards.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to clearly present complex information, manage multiple senior stakeholders effectively, and drive alignment across diverse teams.
