Lead Development Executive

We’re looking for someone who is confident on the phone and enjoys speaking with people in a business setting for our client who are on a huge growth trajectory within the building automation and smart home space!

As a Lead Development Executive, your job is to speak with potential B2B customers, understand what they need, and move the conversation forward to a clear next step. This could be booking a meeting, passing them to the next stage, or helping them understand if the solution is right for them.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Speaking to inbound and outbound leads over the phone
  • Asking questions to understand what the customer needs
  • Identifying whether there’s a good fit
  • Moving conversations towards a clear next step
  • Keeping records up to date in the CRM system
  • Following up with leads where needed
  • Working closely with your manager to improve results

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident speaking on the phone
  • Experience in sales, lead generation, or telesales
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Organised and able to manage your own workload
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Motivated and willing to learn

Useful (but not essential)

  • B2B sales experience
  • Experience in a phone-based role
  • CRM system experience
  • Interest in technology or construction
