Lead Development Executive

My client, who are on a huge growth trajectory within the building automation and smart home space is recruiting for a Lead Development Executive (B2B) to speak with potential customers, understand their needs and move the conversation forward to a clear next step which could be booking a meeting or helping them understand if the solution is right for them.

The role would particularly suit someone who enjoys phone-based B2B sales, relationship building, and working in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment!

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Speaking to inbound and outbound leads over the phone
  • Asking questions to understand what the customer needs
  • Identifying whether there’s a good fit
  • Moving conversations towards a clear next step
  • Keeping records up to date in the CRM system
  • Following up with leads where needed
  • Working closely with your manager to improve results

What We’re Looking For

  • Confident speaking on the phone
  • Experience in sales, lead generation, or telesales
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Organised and able to manage your own workload
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Motivated and willing to learn
