Mission
Ensure that SAP is properly used within the plant and collaborate closely with operations departments to continuously enhance adherence to the Core Model. Act as the interface between the site and the IT organization. Provide line management for the SAP Controller and Master Data Technician.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Activities
- Ensure safety policies are understood and respected within the area of responsibility.
- Guarantee proper use of SAP across the plant and related systems.
- Lead the SAP Key-Users network on site.
- Coordinate first-level support with Key Users and participate in support structure reviews.
- Organize training and assessments for SAP users.
- Coordinate and lead local IT progress plans related to SAP.
- Manage impacts on SAP from new projects and new flows.
- Act as the main contact between the plant and central IT departments/external IT suppliers.
- Contribute to global SAP improvement initiatives.
- Actively participate in workshops, tool design, and best practice sharing.
Master Data Activities
- Collect technical information required for technical reports and database management (e.g., BOM part numbers and descriptions).
- Create and update technical data in line with process changes, product evolutions, and new projects.
- Assist program teams in completing and amending “Birth Certificates.”
- Maintain SAP data: article master, BOM, version, workstation, label type, planning product family, packaging information.
- Ensure coherence and accuracy of collected and entered data.
- Inform Key Users of other systems (e.g., SQP MATTEC) about SAP data changes.
- Ensure a unified Master Database across production and quality systems, applying consistent rules for part naming.
- Collaborate on engineering change processes to ensure systems are updated in line with material or process changes.
- Support new project launches by ensuring BOM alignment with processes and information systems.
- Contribute to stock reliability actions, including COGI analysis and BOM audits.
- Monitor compliance of Birth Certificates and BOM accuracy.
- Train additional users, including contractors during peak workloads.
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of professional experience.
- Strong SAP knowledge and technical understanding.
- Excellent communication skills; organized and structured.
- No automotive background required.
