Commercial Account Executive (SaaS - SMB)
A rapidly growing, global SaaS organization is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to expand its footprint across the SMB market.
About the Role
The Commercial Account Executive will drive new-business acquisition within an assigned territory, focusing on small to mid-sized organizations. You will own the full sales cycle—leveraging prospecting strategies, consultative discovery, product demonstrations, and a disciplined approach to closing. This role requires a blend of technical curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan, including identifying target accounts and building a high-quality pipeline.
- Conduct discovery to understand customer challenges across both technical and business dimensions.
- Deliver clear, compelling product demonstrations that position the solution’s value in real-world workflows.
- Manage deals from initial outreach through negotiation and close, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.
- Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in quota-carrying SaaS/B2B software sales as an Account Executive.
- Experience managing fast-moving sales cycles with a proven track record of closing.
- Strong communication skills, including virtual and in-person presentations.
- Comfortable selling to technical stakeholders, including IT teams and procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence multiple decision-makers.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
