Commercial Account Executive (SaaS - SMB)

A rapidly growing, global SaaS organization is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to expand its footprint across the SMB market.

About the Role

The Commercial Account Executive will drive new-business acquisition within an assigned territory, focusing on small to mid-sized organizations. You will own the full sales cycle—leveraging prospecting strategies, consultative discovery, product demonstrations, and a disciplined approach to closing. This role requires a blend of technical curiosity, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan, including identifying target accounts and building a high-quality pipeline.
  • Conduct discovery to understand customer challenges across both technical and business dimensions.
  • Deliver clear, compelling product demonstrations that position the solution’s value in real-world workflows.
  • Manage deals from initial outreach through negotiation and close, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams.
  • Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in quota-carrying SaaS/B2B software sales as an Account Executive.
  • Experience managing fast-moving sales cycles with a proven track record of closing.
  • Strong communication skills, including virtual and in-person presentations.
  • Comfortable selling to technical stakeholders, including IT teams and procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence multiple decision-makers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
