About us
Connnnect Healthcare Rotherham Community Interest Company (CIC) is a federation of 28 GP practices in Rotherham. The organisation is led by a Board of representatives from general practice in the Borough, with executive leadership from a Medical Director on a part-time basis.
The organisation currently delivers extended access primary care services in Rotherham and a Physio First service in partnership with the local acute and community trust, the largest of its kind currently operating. In addition, the organisation is supporting the development of primary care networks and manages delivery of training and development to large cohorts of the general practice workforce.

We are a GP-led organisation and aim to provide services for direct patient care and to support GP practices. We will be a patient-centred, working collaboratively across general practice and with partners to provide high-quality services, positive working experiences for our staff, and to secure the sustainability of general practice in Rotherham

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in information management, data analysis, business intelligence, statistics
- Knowledge of data-quality principles and information-management processes.
- Understanding of confidentiality, information governance and data protection
- Understanding of data validation, reconciliation and exception reporting.
- Relevant professional qualification in data, information, analytics or information governance.
- Knowledge of healthcare information systems and NHS information requirements.
- Knowledge of NHS data standards and reporting requirements.
Experience
- Experience working with data in a professional environment
- Experience undertaking data validation and quality checks.
- Experience analysing and investigating data discrepancies
- Experience producing reports from complex datasets
- Experience working with stakeholders to resolve data-quality issues.
- Experience using spreadsheets and/or databases to manipulate and analyse data
- Experience working within an NHS or other healthcare environment
- Experience of data-quality improvement projects
- Experience of auditing or reconciling datasets
