About us
Connnnect Healthcare Rotherham Community Interest Company (CIC) is a federation of 28 GP practices in Rotherham. The organisation is led by a Board of representatives from general practice in the Borough, with executive leadership from a Medical Director on a part-time basis.
The organisation currently delivers extended access primary care services in Rotherham and a Physio First service in partnership with the local acute and community trust, the largest of its kind currently operating. In addition, the organisation is supporting the development of primary care networks and manages delivery of training and development to large cohorts of the general practice workforce.

We are a GP-led organisation and aim to provide services for direct patient care and to support GP practices. We will be a patient-centred, working collaboratively across general practice and with partners to provide high-quality services, positive working experiences for our staff, and to secure the sustainability of general practice in Rotherham

Person Specification
Qualifications
- oKnowledge of TPP SystmOne
- oKnowledge of national and local developments in integrating health and social care
- oKnowledge of primary care - general practice, community, or commissioning
- oProject management training
- oEducated to degree level or equivalent
- oEvidence of continuing professional development relevant to role
Experience
- oExperience in project and change management
- oExperience of strategic planning
- oExperience of leading projects and implementing change with supervision if the CD's or the line manager
- oExperience of building and nurturing relationships in challenging and multi-stakeholder environments
- oExperience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of services
- oExperience in communications and stakeholder management, and engagement
- oA good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it
- oExperience of working in the public sector in Doncaster
- oExperience working in/with health & social care
- oCommunity development experience
