Data Analyst

Connect2Hackney, as the internal talent team for the London Borough of Hackney, are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Data Analyst to join our forward-thinking Customer Services, Digital & Data team.

In this key role, you will be working at SFIA Level 4 ('Enable') to bridge the gap between raw data and impactful organisational decision-making. • Partner across directorates and matrixed teams (e.g., Insight Service, Customer Experience, Digital Products) to understand business processes, key KPIs, and analytics requirements.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and data owners to build trusted, reusable datasets using open-source languages and the Council's analytical data platform.
  • Work within an Agile framework to iteratively deliver insights. Promote data sharing, best practices, and innovative analytical tools across the organisation.
  • Implement robust data management, privacy, security, and risk controls to maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility of information assets.
  • Provide direct line management for an Associate Analyst, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and join an out-of-hours user support rota (with additional payment provided).
