Business Development Manager (Consultative Sales)
We re supporting a growing subscription-led insights business in the automotive sector in their search for a Business Development Manager.
This is a modern, consultative sales role focused on building relationships, understanding customer challenges and converting opportunities into long-term subscriptions.
The role suits someone who enjoys full ownership of the sales process in a fast-moving, tech-led environment.
The role:? Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to close? Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities? Run discovery calls and product demonstrations via Microsoft Teams? Understand client needs and position solutions in a consultative way? Convert qualified opportunities into new subscription customers? Work closely with marketing and leadership to improve messaging and approach? Contribute to commercial strategy and growth activity
What we re looking for:? Experience in a full-cycle B2B sales or business development role? Strong ability to run discovery conversations and close deals? Confident communicating and building relationships remotely? Consultative, solution-led approach rather than transactional selling? Self-motivated, accountable and commercially driven? Comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced environment
Nice to have:? Experience in SaaS, subscription, data or insight-led businesses? Interest in automotive or the wider automotive industry? Exposure to startup or scale-up environments
