Product Manager

Job Description We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Group Technology team in Milton Keynes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a cutting-edge, Anti Money Laundry digital experience for our customers, estate agent staff and financial crime teams. You will lead product discovery and collaborate with engineering, business and 3^rd party teams to bring this product to life from the ground up. This is a hands-on but senior role with visibility all the way to the top levels of the company.We offer a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week in our office in Milton Keynes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the definition of the product vision and define quarterly OKRs, partnering with senior leaders from our Estate Agency, Compliance and Technology areas
  • Analyse data and engage with users to gather feedback, validate ideas, and ensure product alignment with user needs and business objectives
  • Gather and document epics, features and user stories
  • Prioritize the backlog based on user feedback, business value, and development effort
  • Manage senior stakeholder expectations and negotiate priorities
  • Develop and maintain an outcome-based product roadmap
  • Lead and inspire 2 cross-functional team of engineering, quality, design, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Act as product lead across both teams, while coaching a Product Owner
  • Collaborate with 3rd party, and other tech and business teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product performance.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Test, learn and iterate fast to prove the viability of the service as quickly and as cheaply as possible
  • Facilitate product demos and user acceptance testing activities
  • Support agile ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives
  • Monitor and stay abreast of new technologies such as AI to inform product vision and lead the discussions with senior stakeholders
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Preferably educated to graduate level with a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field
  • Proven experience working as a product manager or similar role
  • Experience building products from 0 to 1, working to tight timelines and under pressure
  • Experience working with UX designers
  • Experience in Property, Financial services or Compliance
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product management practices
  • Knowledge of agile planning tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated facilitation and influencing skills to drive decision making among stakeholders with diverse perspectives and priorities
  • Ability to lead a team and encourage the team to meet and exceed goals and targets
  • Able to take pragmatic decisions to move forward with an eye for short/medium/long term outcomes
