The OpportunityWe are seeking a versatile and technically adept Technical Analyst/Lead to join a specialized team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a broad IT skill set who is passionate about leveraging technology to support complex investigations. The ideal candidate will be a solid technical expert who wants to remain in a hands-on role rather than moving into a management position.
This position is based in West Yorkshire and operates on a hybrid/remote model, with 1-2 days per week in the office. The role requires occasional travel to client sites to assist with preserving and collecting data from various IT systems. The ability to work unsupervised and adapt to time-sensitive situations is essential, and a driving license and personal transport are required.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and solutions across a range of forensic service operations.
Manage and maintain systems within the Office 365 and Azure environments.
Support virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V and VMware, to ensure system resilience and scalability.
Assist with integration and troubleshooting across AWS and Google Workspace platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize technology tools.
Maintain documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes.
Provide user training and guidance on technology products and platforms.
Strong working knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft Azure (essential).
Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (eg, VMware, Hyper-V) (essential).
Good knowledge of AWS and Google Workspace environments.
Demonstrated ability to use and support a wide range of technology products.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
Relevant certifications (eg, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) are desirable.
Experience in a forensic, legal, or investigative services environment is desirable.
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum.
