Overview

Our banking client in Central London is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join their technology transformation team on a contract basis. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions across a complex, regulated environment, supporting ongoing platform enhancements and major digital-workflow initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ServiceNow development across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, IRM/GRC, or others depending on roadmap).
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and high-quality configurations/customisations.
• Implement flows, integrations, UI policies, business rules, script includes, client scripts, and custom applications.
• Work closely with product owners, architects, business analysts, and platform teams to ensure best-practice technical design.
• Optimise the ServiceNow platform for performance, maintainability, and security.
• Support governance, code reviews, and adherence to platform standards in a highly regulated financial environment.
• Assist with the migration of Legacy processes into ServiceNow, ensuring robust data quality and CMDB accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience as a ServiceNow Developer, including advanced Scripting and configuration.
• Strong hands-on expertise with ITSM and at least one additional module (ITOM, HRSD, IRM/GRC, SecOps, CSM, etc.).
• Proven experience delivering solutions in large enterprise or financial-services environments.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and modern development practices (CI/CD, ATF, Git).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
