D365 CE Functional Consultant – Real-Time Marketing (CIJ)

We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant to join a high-impact project delivering Customer Insights – Journeys (Real-Time Marketing) on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.

This is an exciting contract opportunity to take a lead role in shaping how real-time customer engagement is designed, personalised, and tracked in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional configuration of Dynamics 365 CIJ Real-Time Marketing
• Set up real-time events, event triggers, and behavioural segmentation
• Build dynamic customer journeys with conditional logic, splits, wait times, and exit rules
• Configure brand profiles, compliance frameworks, consent and subscription centres
• Create personalised email, SMS, and WhatsApp templates using dynamic content
• Define and implement KPIs, reporting requirements, and journey analytics
• Run workshops, manage UAT, deliver training, and provide clear documentation

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5–8 years’ experience with Dynamics 365 Marketing / CIJ
• Strong knowledge of real-time marketing features: events, triggers, segmentation, branching journeys
• Hands-on experience with journey orchestration and performance tracking
• Confidence in configuring compliance logic and regional consent setups
• Skilled in building personalised templates across multiple communication channels
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent stakeholder-facing communication skills
