We are recruiting for a full-time, office-based 1st Line Support Analyst to join a well-established business located in Kings Cross, London. This role is ideal for someone with previous 1st line IT support experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and delivering outstanding customer service.

You will be joining a friendly and fast-paced team where your work will make a real impact. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance to internal users across various sites, maintaining IT systems and hardware, and ensuring a smooth day-to-day user experience.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, helpdesk systems, or in person
• Providing first-line support for both Windows 10/11 and Apple Mac operating systems
• Logging, tracking, and resolving IT issues using platforms like Freshservice or ServiceNow
• Performing standard user administration tasks in Active Directory, such as password resets, account creation, and access changes
• Assisting with device setups, software deployment, and IT equipment tracking
• Managing IT asset inventory, including laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
• Supporting collaboration tools such as Office 365, SharePoint, and Microsoft Intune
• Working closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure effective service delivery
• Contributing to internal documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base content
• Continuously learning new systems and practices to keep up with evolving technology

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a motivated individual who brings a combination of technical ability and strong communication skills. You should be proactive, organised, and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a 1st Line IT Support, Helpdesk Analyst, or Service Desk role
• Confidence troubleshooting a range of IT issues across Windows and Mac platforms
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, Intune, and SharePoint
• Knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems, ideally Freshservice, ServiceNow, or similar
• A customer-first approach and a friendly, professional attitude
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain solutions to non-technical users
