We are looking for a Data Cabling Technician to join a growing technical services team. The role involves installing and maintaining structured cabling, ensuring high-quality, tidy, and professional finishes for a variety of environments including offices, schools, and commercial premises.

This is a hands-on role where you will be trusted to plan, run, and deliver projects with professionalism and attention to detail.

What you will be doing:

• Installing and terminating Cat5e and Cat6 cabling
• Testing and fault-finding on cabling infrastructure
• Installing patch panels and network points
• Carrying out cable pulls and ensuring neat, well-presented cabling
• Rectifying cabling errors and network connectivity issues
• Installing PoE-powered devices such as CCTV cameras
• Supporting the wider team with occasional AV or fibre cabling projects

What we are looking for:

• Strong knowledge of Cat5e and Cat6 cabling (fibre knowledge desirable but not essential)
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload under time pressures
• Commitment to high standards of workmanship, with neat and tidy results
• Awareness of health and safety requirements for cabling installations
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
