IT Supply Chain Project Manager
- The Project Manager will oversee a project focused on enhancing inventory visibility and fulfillment processes, specifically integrating new parcel shipping options (UPS, DHL) and making Oracle system changes to improve order fulfillment from multiple locations.
- The team is small and globally distributed, with key stakeholders in the UK, US, and China.
- The Project Manager will primarily coordinate with external vendors (TCS in India, Manhattan Associates in the UK) and internal stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Strong IT project management experience, ideally in supply chain, planning, procurement, logistics, and fulfillment.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, especially pick, pack, and ship operations.
- Experience managing projects involving inventory visibility and fulfillment site operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred, but not required), and understanding of how inventory and fulfillment processes integrate with IT systems.
- Ability to manage timelines and deliverables with external vendors (TCS, Manhattan Associates).
- No specific company backgrounds required; focus is on relevant functional experience.
- Must be able to work UK business hours (9-5 Cambridge, UK time), with occasional evening or weekend work for deployments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global teams.
Location:
- Ideally based in the UK, with preference for proximity to Cambridge.
- Role is generally fully remote, with budget for up to five trips to Cambridge as needed.
- On-site presence is not a strict requirement; flexibility for remote work is available.
- Candidates outside the UK (e.g., US-based) are not preferred due to time zone and budget constraints.
Compensation:
- Travel and expense budget is included for up to five trips (train fare and hotel; meals may not be covered).
- Project is 17 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week), with one week of holiday expected.
