Banking Transformation Consultant – Multiple Levels

The Opportunity A premier global consulting practice is expanding its UK-based Banking team. We are identifying transformation specialists for multiple levels within the organisation. These roles focus on delivering high-impact market infrastructure change for major financial institutions, with a particular emphasis on regulatory transformation, technology roadmaps, and operational resilience.

The Role The successful candidates will manage and deliver workstreams across the entire project lifecycle. Responsibilities include supporting the growth of global accounts and providing content credibility in complex banking environments. You will be expected to support business development activities, including proposal contribution and the development of new market offerings. The roles involve leading cross-functional teams to drive business performance improvement and ensuring the successful adoption of proposed solutions.

Your Profile

  • Experience: You must have between 4 and 10 years of experience in professional services or industry-aligned roles.
  • Investment Banking Expertise: A mandatory and deep understanding of Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Wholesale Banking is required.
  • Regulatory Focus: Proven experience in implementing regulatory change is essential. We are looking for practitioners with knowledge of Basel III/IV, MiFID II, EMIR, SMCR, or similar frameworks.
  • Consulting Background: Ideally, you will have a background in a major consulting firm. If applying from an industry role, a prior consulting pedigree is preferred.
  • Technical Credibility: You should understand the three lines of defence and the execution of data and controls within an investment banking context. Experience in technology roadmaps, including digital assets and AI strategy, is highly advantageous.
