Change, Release & Problem Manager London / Hybrid Paying between £70,000-£80,000 + Benefits A leading engineering and construction business is looking for an experienced Change, Release & Problem Manager to join its growing IT team.This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of IT change governance, release planning, and problem management across a complex technology environment. You'll play a key role in improving service stability, reducing operational risk, and ensuring technology changes are delivered successfully with minimal business disruption.You'll be responsible for managing and continuously improving the organisation's Change, Release, and Problem Management processes, working closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, projects, and third-party suppliers.Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end Change Management process and leading CAB meetings.
  • Coordinating technology releases, deployments, and release schedules.
  • Driving Problem Management activities, root cause analysis, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring new and changed services transition smoothly into operational support.
  • Maintaining and improving Change, Release, and Problem processes within ServiceNow.
  • Producing governance reporting, KPIs, and management information.
  • Working with suppliers and managed service providers to ensure changes are delivered in line with agreed standards.
  • Supporting major technology transformation, cloud, migration, and business integration programmes.

Experience required: To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Proven experience in Change, Release, and Problem Management.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL-based service management practices.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Change, Release, and Problem Management modules.
  • Experience chairing CAB meetings and managing governance processes.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers and managed service providers.
  • A good understanding of infrastructure, cloud, applications, and end-user technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting large-scale technology change or transformation initiatives.

Desirable

  • ITIL certification or Change Management qualification.
  • Experience within a large, multi-site or international organisation.
  • Knowledge of cyber security, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with ServiceNow workflow automation and process improvements.
  • Exposure to mergers, acquisitions, or business integration projects.

London / Hybrid Paying between £70,000-£80,000 + Benefits Must be eligible to work in the UK.
