A leading Managed Services Provider is recruiting a Microsoft Sales Specialist to join on a permanent basis, focusing on winning new business while also driving growth across an established customer base. This role is ideal for a driven new‐business hunter or sales overlay professional with a strong track record in selling Azure and Microsoft 365/Modern Workplace solutions into both SMB and Enterprise clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Generating new business opportunities across Azure, Modern Workplace and Microsoft‐led Professional Services.
- Acting as a subject matter specialist within the sales function, supporting colleagues on Microsoft‐focused opportunities.
- Building and managing a healthy pipeline, from prospecting through to close.
- Upselling and cross‐selling Managed Services and Microsoft Professional Services into existing accounts.
- Working closely with technical pre‐sales and delivery teams to shape compelling customer solutions.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of Microsoft’s cloud portfolio, licensing models and partner ecosystem.
Experience required:
- Proven experience selling Azure and M365/Modern Workplace solutions into SMB and Enterprise‐scale organisations.
- A hunter mentality with the ability to identify, engage and convert new opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to articulate value across cloud, security and managed service offerings.
- Experience working within a Managed Services Provider or Microsoft Partner environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‐engagement skills, with a consultative and credible approach.
- A proactive, self‐motivated style with the drive to exceed targets.
