Senior / Lead Anaplan Consultant

Contract Personnel are delighted to be supporting a high-growth EPM consulting firm in their search for an experienced, and commercially minded, Senior / Lead Anaplan Consultant to play a pivotal role across client engagements. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end technical solutions, act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and contribute to both delivery excellence and ongoing business growth.

You will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members, supporting sales activities, and driving continuous improvement across ways of working.

This is a full-time, permanent position. They operate a remote-first working policy, with an office in London available to use, plus occasional travel required when meeting with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery & Problem Solving

  • Own end-to-end technical solution delivery across client engagements, from design and planning through to implementation and adoption.
  • Act as the technical escalation point, managing delivery progress, risks, and scope to ensure successful outcomes and protect commercial objectives.
  • Lead workshops with senior stakeholders, applying structured problem-solving approaches to navigate ambiguity and deliver clear recommendations.

Technical Expertise

  • Design and deliver enterprise-level planning solutions aligned to business requirements, including integration with wider systems.
  • Apply best practice approaches using both pre-built applications and bespoke model builds.
  • Provide strategic advice across a range of platform capabilities and associated tools.

Leadership & People Development

  • Mentor and support junior consultants, contributing to their development and maintaining high delivery standards.
  • Act as a role model within the team, promoting a collaborative and feedback-driven culture.

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • Proven consulting experience with a strong track record of delivering complex technical EPM solutions in client-facing environments
  • Anaplan Solutions Architect Certification or equivalent professional experience with the tool
  • 2+ years in an Anaplan implementation-based role
  • Possess strong knowledge of financial processes or expertise in HR, Supply Chain, or S&OP.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the commercial awareness to manage scope and delivery effectively.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members.
