This is a *Manchester, UK* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global T echnology Client that is working on * Developing and maintaining modern Front End applications . *

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to build and improve modern web applications, delivering high-quality features in short cycles. You'll pick up an existing codebase quickly and ship production-ready software with minimal guidance.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain modern Front End applications
• Deliver features from design through implementation and release
• Turn designs and mockups into high-quality UIs
• Break down complex work into manageable tasks
• Collaborate with Back End, product, design, QA, and other stakeholders
• Write clean, well-tested code
• Debug production issues and improve performance and reliability
• Join code reviews and contribute to Front End best practices
• Monitor app health with observability tools
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments

Must Have

• 3+ years of professional Front End development
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Experience with React or Vue.js
• Solid HTML5 and CSS3
• Responsive, cross-browser web apps
• Strong Front End architecture and modern patterns
• Consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Unit testing and high code quality
• Git and collaborative workflows
• CI/CD pipelines
• Debugging and supporting production apps
• Monitoring and observability tools
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to understand large existing codebases
• Ability to work independently with minimal onboarding
• Strong focus on delivery, quality, and ownership
